Yonkers Students Get Ringside Mentorship from Wrestling Stars

Former WWE Stars and Local Wrestlers Team Up to Mentor Yonkers My Brother’s Keeper Students

Yonkers My Brother’s Keeper (Yonkers MBK) and Yonkers Public Schools are proud to present the My Brother’s Keeper: Community Night Out Wrestling Event, a one-of-a-kind experience to inspire and engage students and the community. Featuring local wrestlers from WrestlePro and former WWE stars, this family-friendly event will combine exciting wrestling matches with powerful messages about perseverance, overcoming obstacles, and the importance of mentorship. Attendees will hear personal stories from the wrestlers and learn about building a strong community.

This event will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025 at The Arena at Yonkers Middle High School. Doors Open: 5:00 PM Event Starts: 6:00 PM

The WrestlePro Mentoring Event is made possible by Yonkers My Brother’s Keeper (MBK). Yonkers Public Schools is an MBK Model Community, one of four selected by the Obama Foundation from across the country. Yonkers Public Schools was selected in recognition of its on-time graduation rate for young men of color, which is the highest in New York State.

As a Model Community, Yonkers receives additional support to help its students achieve six milestones that range from school readiness to post-graduate employment. This event supports Milestone 6 of the My Brother’s Keeper initiative, which focuses on ensuring all youth remain safe from violent crime

The Arena at Yonkers Middle High School is located at 150 Rockland Ave, Yonkers.
