Yonkers Girl Scouts On TV!

Visit Good Morning America

March 12 was National Girl Scout Day and the girls from Yonkers Troop 1787 were invited to Good Morning America to be a part of the celebration! Today marks 113 years of Girl Scouting in America.

National Girl Scout Day, celebrated annually on March 12th, commemorates the founding of the Girl Scouts of the USA by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 when she organized the first troop meeting in Savannah, Georgia

National Girl Scout Day is a time to celebrate the history and legacy of Girl Scouting, and to thank Girl Scout volunteers.

It’s not too late to celebrate National Girl Scout day by doing what else, buying some Girl Scout Cookies
