Westchester Winter Wonderland is Open for 2024 Holidays

A New Tradition for Family Fun

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza, returned to Kensico Dam Plaza on Saturday, November 23, 2024 bigger and better than ever with thousands of more lights, TWO 100-foot light tunnels, New LIVE Ice Queen character and the best LIVE Santa Claus in Westchester making it accessible and convenient for all!

Westchester Parks Foundation welcomed a special child to help light the tree, five-year-old  Christopher Cox from Pelham, NY who has epilepsy.  Through the expertise of doctors in the Pediatric Neurology department at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, his family have been able to weather this serious condition since he was diagnosed at 1 years old. As a result of the care from the team there including Drs. Philip Overby and Steven Wolf, Christopher is thriving today and recently started Kindergarten.

The festive celebration takes place six consecutive weeks through December 31, 2024, starting at 5:30p.m. weekdays and on Saturday – Sundays at 5:00p.m.  *End times vary per night. Tickets are $37 per vehicle, making it a great value for families!  Proceeds from this event benefit WPF and allow the organization to further its mission to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use and enjoyment of 50 parks, trails and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system. When purchasing tickets, guests were able to donate additional fund to Westchester Parks Foundation to help expand its Camp Morty program for disenfranchised youth along with Westchester Medical Center Health Network Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.  For complete information and to purchase tickets, visit wwinterwonderland.com
