Greenburgh Snow Angels Doing Great Work to Help Homebound Seniors, Disabled Shovel Out

Thanks to all who participate in the Greenburgh Snow Angels. Here is a note from one volunterr. This is Matthew Figueiredo-Cardoso, a senior at Ardsley High School.

“I am part of the Greenburgh Angels Program. This program allows students to give back to the community through volunteer work. The Snow Angel program was created to help shovel the driveways and walkways of senior citizens and disabled residents who are unable to do it themselves.

“The Snow Angels are currently looking for volunteers to help with the snow removal program this winter. Residents often don’t need the entire driveway to be shoveled, rather they only need a path cleared so that someone can bring them food or for emergency related events.

“It’s a good opportunity to help and give back to the community. I have been part of this program for a few years now. It is an excellent workout and allows me to enjoy being outdoors while helping my community.

“If you would like to be part of the Snow angels, please contact greenburghsnowangels@gmail.com or fill out this quick form: https://forms.gle/GwGkun34EGQJEK8g8”

Thanks to you Matthew, and all who are volunteering to help others this winter.
