The Hudson River Patriots Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), proudly presented certificates, a medal, and gifts from both the New York State Organization NSDAR and the Hudson River Patriots Chapter to Gabriella Luma, a daughter of Daren and Vivian Luma, of Dobbs Ferry, NY, and a senior at Ardsley High School, winner of the 2024-2025 Patriots of the American Revolution (PAR) Essay Contest.
Gabriella’s essay received top marks from the judges for being both thought provoking and engaging. The Hudson River Patriots Chapter was delighted to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of such a remarkable student in our community.
“The DAR is deeply committed to encouraging students to explore the stories of the American Revolution and discover how individual contributions shaped our nation’s founding,” said Regent Cindy Pramann of the Hudson River Patriots Chapter. “Gabriella’s essay showed insight and originality, and we are very proud to honor her achievement.”
