Most people in this country don’t know about the brutally racist colonial control that the west, especially the United kingdom and the United States, has had over Iran. The white western world has invaded and controllled much of the middle east for centuries. Englands Balfour declaration of 1917 ,the British mandate for Palestine in 1923 ,as well as the illegal partitioning and taking of Palestine by the United States, Britain and France in 1947 are just a few examples of western interference and domination of the Middle East.
The Anglo Persian Oil Company was another example of the western interference and raping of Iran and its resources , principally oil, and enriching themselves meanwhile leaving millions of Iranians living in poverty. The profits and capital, like always when it comes to western invasion of much of the world are stolen and they do it via puppets that are installed in the country being exploited.
Batista in Cuba, Joseph Mobuto in the Congo, Castillo in Guatemala and in the case of Iran the Shah was installed. Mohammed Mossaddegh was elected prime minister in a democratically elected process in 1951. He was trying to reverse the raping of Iran by the United kingdom and the United States by nationalizing the oil industry. The United States and the Uk were incensed by this and put in place the overthrow of the Mossaddegh regime.
Kermit Roosevelt, the grandson of President Theodore Roosevelt, was the agent from the Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.) who worked with the United Kingdom and the U.S. military to execute a coup that led to the overthrow of the democratically elected Mossaddegh regime and the installation of the dictatorship of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi( the shah). The Shah’s Reign of Terror for twenty-six years in Iran led to tens of thousands of Iranians who were killed and tortured.
The torture was orchestrated by Savak, the Shah’s secret police, trained directly by the CIA in various methods of waterboarding and other types of torture. This terror and repression of the Iranian people precipitated the revolution in 1979 that led to the downfall of the Shah and the one-term presidency of James Earl Carter.
This is something that the CNNs of the world, as well as the corporate media in general, will not talk about or acknowledge. The same kind of indoctrination is blanketed in terms, or lack of acknowledgement I should say is applied to what the United States did in the raping of Cuba for sixty years, and yet Fidel Castro is defined as evil. This lie of American greatness applies to every country where the United States and the white Western world have committed an atrocity against.
That is why Americans are some of the most ignorant and uneducated people in the world, whether they are black, white, Latino, or otherwise. Benjamin Netanyahu is evil and a war criminal. The more than sixty thousand Palestinian men, women, and children who have been slaughtered are ignored by this country, and its bombing of Iran, initiating this war, is an expression of its intention to do the same thing in Iran.
He has said the same thing about Iran for thirty years, as far as Iran’s development of a nuclear bomb. That is subterfuge on his part-Netanyahu is a blood-thirsty murderer many times over. How is the United States and Israel in a position to tell Iran what they can and cannot do when each of these countries,, combined has bombed and killed millions of civilians just in the last 30 years?
Can anyone answer this question? The United States, with its bloodthirsty and sanguinary history, will most likely bomb and eliminate the regime in Iran, like they have done so many times before, and we wonder why 9/11 happened, as well as the existence of ISIS. Ask yourselves who has been the world’s biggest terrorist? It certainly is not Iran.
