Congratulations to Evan Bishop, the founder of Yonkers Comic Con, for the great success of the 2nd Annual event, held at the Riverfront Library on Oct. 5.Hundreds of Comic lovers, young and old came out and dressed up, representing their favorite superheroes.
This year’s Creator’s Choice Award honored the legendary Mark Gruenwald, a distinguished writer and editor at Marvel Comics. Renowned for his encyclopedic knowledge of the Marvel Universe, Gruenwald is celebrated as one of Marvel’s finest editors. His impactful work includes spearheading the Official Handbooks to the Marvel Universe and his celebrated ten-year runs on Squadron Supreme and Captain America, Mark Gruenwald’s contributions have left an indelible mark on the comic book industry, and we are thrilled to recognize his exceptional legacy with this prestigious award.
