Yonkers Tallest Residential Building, 44 Hudson, Opens Downtown

On Tuesday January 13th Azorim Chairman Hershey Freidman and COO Jack Klein, together with Yonkers elected officials, marked the grand opening of Hudson 44. Now the tallest building in Yonkers at 301 feet, Hudson 44 is a distinctive 27-story residential tower with sweeping views of the Hudson River from New York City to the South to the Tappan Zee Bridge in the north. Hudson 44 boasts 250 units with a mix of studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom residences and a full suite of luxury amenities in the heart of downtown Yonkers. Hudson 44 has reshaped the Yonkers skyline and is a major milestone in Yonkers’ continued growth.

FEATURES & HIGHLIGHTS of Hudson 44 include: The tallest building in Yonkers at 301 feet, 250 residential units including 25 designated affordable units,  ground floor retail, more than six floors of parking,  a sky lounge with panoramic views of the Hudson River from Manhattan to the Tappan Zee Bridge , state-of-the-art fitness center, rooftop swimming pool, rooftop deck, and a business lounge.

Joining Azorim Chairman Hershey Freidman and COO Jack Klein at the opening were Yonkers Deputy Mayor Susan Gerry, Yonkers City Council President Lakisha Collins-Bellamy, Yonkers City Council Members: John Rubbo, Deana Norman, Corazon Pineda-Isaac, Tasha Diaz, and Tim Hodges as well as Westchester County Legislators James Nolan and Shanae Williams.

“The opening of 44 Hudson Street represents the continued transformation of Yonkers into a vibrant, modern city where people want to live, work, and invest,” said Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. “This new luxury residential building strengthens our downtown, reimagines our skyline and brings new energy to the waterfront. We thank Azorim for its continued commitment to smart growth and investment in our Yonkers community.”

Yonkers City Council President Lakisha Collins-Bellamy said, “Hudson 44 has literally changed the skyline of Yonkers. As the tallest building in our city, it stands as a powerful symbol of progress, vision, and the continued evolution of our downtown. This milestone reflects the hard work, partnership, and forward-thinking investment that are helping Yonkers grow.”

Azorim Chairman Hershey Friedman said, “Hudson 44 is the first of our projects in the downtown Yonkers area. We believe that this tower will contribute to Yonkers’ growing vibrancy as a great place to live. We are grateful to Mayor Spano and the City Council for their continued support in bringing the building from conception to completion.”
