For the 4th straight season, the Lady Bulldogs of Yonkers High School faced off against the YMA Eagles
for the Yonkers City Tournament title. YMA took the crown in 2018 and 2021 and Yonkers High won the 2019 title (there was no tournament in 2020).
This year it was the Lady Bulldogs turn for the title. Trailing 5-3 entering the top of the fourth, some unlikely mistake filled fielding by YMA led to the Lady Bulldogs pulling away for the victory. Sabrina Iacoveta went the distance for the win for Yonkers High School.
