Westchester GOP Fields Full Slate of Candidates for 2022 Election

The Westchester GOP released their slate of candidates for Assembly, State Senate and Congress on March 22. This year, County GOP Chair Doug Colety has recruited republican candidates to make sure that voters will have a choice for almost every elected office when they go to the polls in November.

For Congress:

16th District-William Faulkner. Seat is currently held by Rep. Jamaal Bowman. Bronx, Westchester and Putnam Counties.

17th District-Jack Schrepel. Seat is currently held by Rep. Mondaire Jones, Westchester and Rockland counties.

18th-Colin Schmitt. Seat is currently held by Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. Schmitt is a member of the State Assembly.

State Senate:

37th District: Khristen Kerr. Seat currently held by Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins. Yonkers and mid-westchester.

39th District: Frank Murtha. Seat is currently held by Senator Shelley Mayer. Yonkers and sound shore.

42nd District: Gina Arena. Seat is currently held by Senator Peter Harckham. Northern Westchester

Assembly:

88th District: Tomas Fix. Seat is currently held by Assemblymember Amy Paulin. Eastchester and Scarsdale.

89th District: Michael Breen. Seat is currently held by Assemblymember Nader Sayegh. Yonkers. Breen is a Yonkers City Councilman.

92nd District: Carlo Valente. Seat is currently held by Assemblymember Tom Abinantim, who has a democratic primary opponent from county legislator MaryJane Shimsky. Greenburgh and Mt. Pleasant and small portion of Yonkers.

93rd District: Gary Lipson. Seat is currently held by Assemblymember Chris Burdick. White Plains and northern Westchester.

94th District: Matt Slater. Seat is currently held by republican Assemblyman Kevin Byrne. Yorktown and parts of Putnam County. Slater is the Town Supervisor of Yorktown.

95th District: Stacy Halper. Seat is currently held by Assemblymember Sandy Galef, who is not seeking election. Several democrats are running. Ossining, northern Westchester and parts of Putnam.
