Bee-Line Service Changes Take Effect on Labor Day
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins announced service changes to several Bee-Line bus system routes to better meet ridership demand and improve service efficiency.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 7, service changes will take effect on the following Bee-Line bus routes.
County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The Bee-Line Bus System is an essential service that connects residents to jobs, schools, health care and communities throughout Westchester. These service adjustments are designed to better reflect rider demand while improving reliability and efficiency across the system. We encourage all riders to review the updated schedules before traveling.”
• Routes 1, 1X, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 14, 15, 45, 52, 60, 62 and 66: Weekday schedules will be adjusted.
• Route 1X: Service will be extended to Bradhurst Avenue.
• Routes 16 and 18/31: Schedules will be adjusted to more closely align with published timetables. Additional trip adjustments will also be made.
• Route 20: Weekday and Sunday schedules will be adjusted.
• Route 43: A new northbound 6:35 a.m. trip will be added between White Plains Road and East 241st Street in the Bronx and Westchester Medical Center.
• Routes 75 and 91: Seasonal service to Playland will end.
Riders should note that Monday, Sept. 7, is Labor Day and Bee-Line buses will operate on a Sunday schedule.
