Earlier this month, members of the Avports team at Westchester County Airport were very proud to be part of White Plains’ 1st Annual Youth Aviation Expo, held at the Eastview Middle School. The event, organized by the City of White Plains Youth Bureau, was an ideal setting for aviation professionals to connect with some 200 middle and high school students to describe airport management career opportunities and meet individuals who work for airlines, law enforcement, educational institutions, the FAA, and members of the community. Avports is focused on mentoring and guiding future aviation professionals and sharing the passion for flying.
