Turning Love into a Legacy!

At the 9th Annual Back-to-School Drive, Kahlil Gibran School Safety Officer Nancy Maldonado provided 550 backpacks filled with school supplies through her Forever Smiling Foundation to honor the memory of her son, Jonathan.
Nancy’s dedication to giving back was also recognized with proclamations from New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and the Westchester County Board of Legislators.

The Forever Smiling Foundation is a nonprofit created to honor the memory of Jonathan Maldonado, who died in 2017 in Greenburgh. “We’re so grateful to every business, friend, and supporter who has sponsored, donated, or volunteered with us over the years. Because of you, we’ve brought smiles through school drives, coat giveaways, toy distributions, holiday meals, and so much more.
