Celebrate the epic journey of Hudson River fish like Atlantic sturgeon, striped bass, and river herring as they make their way upriver to spawn. Riverkeeper’s Fish Migration Celebration is back with a fantastical flotilla, fish-inspired art, and a celebration of the Hudson’s iconic migrating species.
Our free family-friendly event launches in Yonkers at Habirshaw Park at the Yonkers Riverfront Summer Kickoff Festival on June 20 from 11 am – 12:30 pm.
We’ll chart a course to Newburgh, where we’ll celebrate with a community gathering where you can make your own fish hats, plus a puppet parade at Unico Park on the riverfront and welcome the fish from 5 – 8 pm.
