Let’s all Return to Freedomland! THIS SATURDAY!

Where did you go for fun as a child? Was it on the Dragon Coaster at Playland in Rye, along the Long Island Sound? Perhaps you remember the cotton candy at Palisades Park atop the high cliffs along the Hudson? Maybe you drove way down the NJ Turnpike to Great Adventure or Action Park!

But if you grew up in the right place, at the right time, and if you were especially lucky, maybe it was Freedomland USA – right next door in the Bronx.

Join us at The Lincoln Depot for our Return to Freedomland, with Freedomland’s undisputed expert and author, Michael Virgintino! Come hear the tales of the park’s beginning, see everything it had to offer, and learn why it disappeared after only a few short years. Come to the Depot on Saturday to see photos, artifacts, video footage, and even television coverage of the park. It’s not quite as great as a day at Freedomland USA – but even folks who never visited will find themselves lost in beautiful memories of childhood.

This Saturday, November 7th at 2:00 pm
Museum Doors Open at 1:00 pm.
at the Lincoln Depot Museum
10 S. Water Street Peekskill, NY
