10,000 More Votes to Count in Westchester

By Dan Murphy

As of 930 AM on Nov. 4, the Westchester County Board of Elections has 10,000 ballots to input before the final election totals can be determined.

We have been told that the National Republican Congressional Committee, NRCC, has been monitoriing the situation in Westchester and wanted the votes tabulated as soon as possible. But now that Congressman Mike Lawler has already conceeded the race to Cait Conley, the urgency on counting the remaining Westchester ballots in NY-17 is gone.

Several local Westchester races remain unresolved. We will wait to dig into those races after the BOE has scanned the remaining 10,000 ballots into our infamous voting machines and releases the results.

The BOE is hoping to have the ballots scanned and a complete vote total available by the end of today.
