
Celebrating their graduation as members of Maria Regina High School’s Class of ’26 were (l-r, attached photo): Valedictorian Elizabeth Hunt, Yonkers, who will major in mechanical engineering at Manhattan University; Salutatorian Ava Magaletti, Shrub Oak, who will pursue a marketing major at Penn State University and General Excellence Award honoree Amaya Mejia, Yonkers, who will embark on an integrative neuroscience/pre-med major at SUNY Binghamton.
They were among the 107 graduates who received their diplomas during graduation ceremonies held at the Hartsdale campus of the renowned all-female Catholic high school.
Distinguished Athletic Director and Educator Claudia Stabile, who is celebrating her 45th year as Head Softball Coach for Pace University and is the longest-tenured active head coach across all NCAA Divisions, delivered the keynote address. Stabile’s appearance at Maria Regina was a homecoming as she previously served as the school’s Dean of Students and Athletic Director.
