Cross County Center Kicks Off Summer Fest 2026

New Family Food Festival, Country Line Dancing & a Full Season of Free Events Coming to Yonkers

Summer starts at Cross County Center as Summer Fest 2026 returns with a full lineup of free events, entertainment, and community experiences at Westchester’s premier open-air shopping destination. All summer long, Cross County Center will transform into a vibrant hub of music, movement, food, and fun. From live concerts and dance nights to fitness classes and family-friendly activities, Summer Fest offers something for everyone, most of it completely FREE.

Summer Fest launches in delicious style on Sunday, June 14 from 12–3 PM with the debut of the Family Food Summer Fest, an official satellite event of Westchester Magazine’s Wine & Food Festival. This free, family-friendly celebration transforms Cross County Center into a lively culinary destination featuring food tastings, food trucks, along with samples, raffles and giveaways from dining and retail tenants.  Guests can also enjoy train rides, inflatables, lawn games, face painting, along with a DJ, and strolling entertainment throughout the afternoon.

“We’re excited to bring Summer Fest back with even more for the community to enjoy, especially with the addition of our new Family Food Summer Fest to kick things off and Country Line Dancing,” said Kayli Tarcy, Marketing Director for Cross County Center. “This series is all about creating a place where people can come together, whether it’s for great food, live music, or just spending time outdoors with family and friends. It really captures the energy of summer at our Center.”

As Cross County Center continues to evolve, Summer Fest 2026 reflects the center’s broader momentum, with new retailers and dining concepts on the way and ongoing redevelopment plans designed to enhance the overall guest experience.

All events are open to the public, and most are free. With its open-air setting, convenient free parking, and a wide variety of shopping and dining options, Cross County Center is the go-to destination for summer in Westchester.
