Live Reading of Nobody’s Girl, Virginia Giuffre Jan. 29-Bedford Playhouse

This powerful community event supports survivors and raises awareness during National Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

In honor of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, LifeWay Network is hosting a live reading and discussion of Nobody’s Girl, written by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the most outspoken survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

This meaningful evening offers a way to show up for survivors through education, conversation and direct support for survivor services. Guests will learn more about the realities of trafficking — including trafficking in our community — and join a discussion grounded in awareness and action.

The event will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Bedford Playhouse, located at 633 Old Post Road in Bedford.

Event Schedule
5:30-7:30 p.m. — Live reading, cocktails, appetizers
7:30–9:30 p.m. — VIP after-party including dinner at the Old oHHo Firehouse (a short walk from the Bedford Playhouse)

LifeWay Network Executive Director Ali Boak will moderate the program, with Assemblymember Chris Burdick delivering opening remarks. Tara Rosenblum, senior investigative reporter at News 12, and Kiki Jimenez, a survivor and advisory board member for the Westchester County Anti-Trafficking Task Force, will read excerpts from Nobody’s Girl and join the discussion.

“Survivors deserve more than our sympathy, they deserve our action,” said Ali Boak, executive director of LifeWay Network. “This evening is an opportunity to listen, learn and take meaningful steps as a community to prevent trafficking and ensure survivors have access to safe housing, support and long-term stability.”

“Bedford Books is honored to cohost this evening of awareness and community around Nobody’s Girl, a memoir of remarkable courage and resilience,” said Fran Hauser, owner of Bedford Books. “We hope the conversation leaves our community feeling more informed, more connected, and motivated to support survivors and help build a safer world.”

Tickets are available at three levels, and every purchase directly supports LifeWay Network’s education and safe housing programs, which help prevent instances of trafficking and provide survivors with safety, stability and resources to rebuild their lives.
