Congratulations to Johanna Velazquez-Xique, this year’s recipient of the Mayor’s Annual Scholarship!
A high honor Roll graduate of Barack Obama School for Social Justice, Johanna has excelled in the classroom while giving back to our community. This fall, she’ll attend Monroe University to study Allied Health Sciences.
Her family, along with her principal and assistant principal, joined me in presenting her the Edward J. Petrillo Award.
