Support K9 Vincent’s Medical Treatment: Help Cover Cancer Surgery Costs

Hello, friends and supporters of the Village of Mamaroneck,

I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart on behalf of K9 Vincent and his handler, retired Police Officer Ozzie Ramos. K9 Vincent, a beloved member of our police force, has been diagnosed with two large cancerous tumors that require urgent removal. The medical bills for this surgery are significant, and we need your help to ensure Vincent receives the treatment he deserves after years of service.

K9 Vincent and Officer Ramos have been an invaluable team to the Village of Mamaroneck for several years. Together, they have worked tirelessly in narcotics investigations, assisted with searching for missing persons, and tracking down criminals, always putting the safety of our community first. Vincent has not only been a loyal partner to Officer Ramos but also a protector and a dedicated member of our police department.

While the Village of Mamaroneck covers the veterinary expenses for active-duty K9s, once a K9 retires, these costs fall solely on the handler. As Vincent is now retired, Officer Ramos is faced with the financial burden of covering the expensive surgery to remove the tumors and give Vincent a chance to live out his retirement in comfort.

We are asking for your support to cover these medical costs and give K9 Vincent the care he needs. Any extra funds raised will be used to support the medical expenses of future retired K9s, ensuring that when our current working K9s retire, they too will receive the necessary care they deserve.

Please consider donating to help K9 Vincent and Officer Ramos during this difficult time. No amount is too small, and every donation will make a difference in ensuring that Vincent’s next chapter is one filled with love, care, and comfort.

Thank you so much for your generosity and support. Together, we can help ensure that our four-legged heroes are well taken care of. Visit the GoFundMe page at
