Watch Excited Yonkers Fans Rally for the New York Knicks After Eastern Conference Win

The City of Yonkers is going all in for the New York Knicks as the team punches its ticket to the NBA Finals following a dominant 130-93 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. This will be the Knicks’ first appearance in the finals since 1999.
“Yonkers has always supported our hometown teams, and the Knicks’ run reminds us that hard work, grit, and determination pay off,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “We’re proud not only of what this team has done on the court, but how players like OG Anunoby have given back to communities like Yonkers off the court as well. Our City is proud to stand with the thousands of Knicks fans cheering them on every game.”
In December 2025, Knicks Forward OG Anunoby partnered with Skechers and AdoptAClassroom.org to surprise students at Westchester Hills School 29 with a $25,000 donation supporting the school’s library and basketball programs, while also speaking to students about education and perseverance.
Tonight, Yonkers will light the iconic City Hall Clock Tower in orange and blue. Yonkerstron, the City’s large digital display screen on Main Street, also will feature a special congratulatory message celebrating the Knicks’ championship run.
The Knicks will now face either the defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals, beginning June 3.
