Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today announced the expansion of MuniCollab’s digital platform to modernize the City’s Zoning Board of Appeals’ (ZBA) and the Landmarks Preservation Board’s the review operations. This expansion of MuniCollab led by the Yonkers Planning & Development Department represents a significant advancement in Yonkers’ commitment to efficient governance and transparent municipal processes.
“Bringing MuniCollab to these boards is a critical step in modernizing our operations,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “Residents and property owners will be part of a process that’s clearer, more efficient, and transparent.”
The ZBA will now accept applications through the portal, digitizing the entire appeals process from initial submission through final decision-making, while ensuring complete transparency and record-keeping throughout.
Additionally, the Landmarks Preservation Board will now accept applications through the MuniCollab portal, digitizing the review of Certificates of Appropriateness, Maintenance Waivers, Historic Landmark and Landmark District designations, and other matters under the City’s Historic and Landmarks Preservation Ordinance, from initial submission through final decision-making, while ensuring complete transparency and record-keeping throughout.
