The Guinea-USA Chamber of Commerce (GUSCOC) -will launch its New York State Chapter on Sept. 26 in Yonkers.
As the Guinean-American community in New York continues to grow, particularly in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Long Island, Upstate NY and beyond, so does its business community. The launch of the Guinean-USA Chamber of Commerce’s New York State Chapter comes at a time when New York’s broader West African business community is expanding, creating a growing need for institutions that can connect immigrant entrepreneurs with capital, business opportunities and U.S.-Africa trade networks.
The community includes members of the GUSCOC New York State Chapter Board:

GUSCOC is officially launching its New York State Chapter on Saturday, September 26. They are bringing together government officials, business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, international organizations, and members of the Guinean diaspora to discuss opportunities for strengthening economic ties between Guinea and the United States.
Taking place under the theme “Building Economic Bridges Between Guinea and the United States,” the evening will highlight the growing business and investment relationship between the two countries and the role of the Guinean diaspora in creating new opportunities across markets.
The launch will take place from 6:00–11:00 p.m. at the Castle Royale Event Venue in Yonkers, New York, and will feature networking and conversations among leaders working across business, finance, government and international development.
