Andrew Giuliani Tied with Zeldin in One of the Last GOP Polls for NY Governor

A recent poll by Survey-USA, collected from June 15-June 20 found Lee Zeldin and Andrew Giuliani is a statistical tie in the republican race for NY Governor.

Zeldin has 25%, Giuliani at 23%, Harry Wilson at 13%, Rob Astorino at 8% with a whopping 31% still undecided two weeks before the June 28 primary.

The poll had a plus -minus error rate of 5.4%, which puts Zeldin and Giuliani in a dead heat. 538 likely republican primary voters in NY responded.

Giuliani’s campaign posted the picture above on their Twitter page, which cites a post debate Sienna poll giving Giuliani a 50% favorability compared to 36% for Zeldin. In that last debate, hosted by Newsmax, Giuliani made news when he asked Zeldin whether he had ever called former President Trump comments racist.

The unknown in the primary for GOP Governor is that with four active and viable candidates running, what percentage wins the primary? Zeldin has scored as high as 45% in older polls, but most republicans we speak to believe his support is on the decline.

Rob Astorino received high grades for his debate performance and has a loyal republican base in Westchester and Putnam County.

Harry Wilson has dropped a $5 Million TV ad bomb on Zeldin over the past month, critizing him for his ties for former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Other republicans we have spoken to are unhappy with the negativity of all of the candidates against each other, especially Wilson’s ad dump on Zeldin.

The MAGA -Trump NY republican voter appears to be heading towards Giuliani, who had a fund raiser last week at Trump’s Bedminster Golf Club, where Steve Bannon, and former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik hosted, and the former President popped in.

Plus Andrew has his father, Rudy Giuliani, who remains very popular among the NY Republican base, regardless of his work with Trump, Jan. 6th or anything else.

Any never Trumper NY republicans are going to Wilson or are parked there already.
