Last week, students on the Superintendent’s Student Leadership Council gathered at Historic Phillipse Manor Hall for their first meeting of the academic year.
During the meeting, each student representative had the opportunity to share their perspectives on how schools can better support diverse student talents, interests, and learning pathways.
Superintendent Dr. Anibal Soler, Jr. and Executive Director of Social Studies Ms. Sharon Courtney led a discussion about the future of education in New York State, including changes to graduation requirements, college and career readiness, and opportunities for student success.
