On October 10, at 9:00 Am Westchester County Legislator Shanae Williams hosts her third annual Break the Silence on Domestic Violence 5k Run/Walk at Tibbetts Brook Park.
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Legislator Williams’ event connect people with valuable resources, reminding survivors that they are not alone.
This year, we are very proud to partner with Yonkers Community Action Program (YCAP), a local nonprofit organization committed to strengthening families and providing essential services and support to individuals and families throughout our community. Through this partnership we are looking to raise awareness about YCAP’s services, ensuring survivors have access to the resources and assistance they need.
