The Westchester County Youth Bureau and Youth Board are seeking nominations for the annual Youth Service Awards, which recognizes 11th and 12th grade students living in Westchester County who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to their community.
Full details regarding the award criteria and nomination process are available on the Youth Bureau website. The completed form must be submitted through the website by Friday, October 9, 2026 at 5 p.m. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2026 at 5 p.m. at the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The annual Youth Service Awards is a wonderful opportunity to honor young leaders in our community who are dedicated to serving others, in spite of some having overcome significant personal obstacles. Their commitment and resilience inspire and remind us that people of all ages can rise above their circumstances with purpose and set a powerful example for their peers and beyond.”
