U.S. Army Reserve Brigadier General Michael Brancamp with his family after promotion

Congratulations to the WCPD Lt. Michael Brancamp on his recent promotion to Brigadier General in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is assigned to the 200th Military Police Command as the Deputy Commanding General – Operations.
Mike enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in 1994 and was commissioned from Fordham University as a second lieutenant in 1997.
He joined the WCPD in 2002, was promoted to sergeant in June 2007 and Lieutenant in November 2021. He is currently the commanding officer of our precinct at Westchester County Airport.
We congratulate Brigadier General Brancamp on his military promotion and thank him for his service to our nation and our Department.

This weekend, COL Brancamp was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in Orangeburg, New York, home of the 812th Military Police Company (General Support), where his journey as an Army Officer began.
Surrounded by family, friends, and mentors who have supported him throughout a distinguished career, BG Brancamp marked this milestone by returning to the unit where it all started.
