New Rochelle Woman Arrested After Striking a Yorktown Police Vehicle with Stolen Car

On June 9, 2026, at approximately 12:33 p.m., members of the Troop K Community Stabilization Unit (CSU), with assistance from the Yorktown Police Department and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, attempted to stop a stolen 2020 Toyota RAV4 traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Yorktown. The vehicle had been broadcast by the Westchester Real Time Crime Center (RTC) prior to the stop.

The operator failed to comply, and a pursuit was initiated. During the pursuit, the operator intentionally struck a Yorktown Police Department patrol vehicle. The officer was not injured. Members of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office successfully deployed a tire deflation device near Pudding Street, and the vehicle later crashed on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Kent.

The operator, identified as Keanna L. Hogue, 29, of New Rochelle, fled on foot but was taken into custody shortly after fleeing.

Hogue was transported to State Police Stormville and charged with:

  • Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony
  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony
  • Six counts of Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, Class A Misdemeanors
  • Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law Violations

Following processing, Hogue was turned over to the Pelham Manor Police Department, the originating agency investigating the vehicle theft.

The New York State Police thank the Yorktown Police Department, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, and the Westchester Real Time Crime Center for their assistance.
