Angel Gray of Westchester Children’s Association Named a 2026 Wunderkind by 914INC.

The Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) is proud to announce that Angel Gray, WCA Director of Program and Policy, has been selected as one of the 2026 Wunderkinds by 914INC., a prestigious recognition honoring the region’s most talented and innovative young professionals under the age of 35.

With over a decade of experience in social services, policy, and community engagement, Gray has worked across direct practice and systems-level advocacy, including providing trauma-informed clinical care and supervising family support programs. She is a recognized leader and speaker on issues such as youth justice, education equity, and child well-being, and has presented at statewide forums. Gray is a Leadership Fellow with The New York Community Trust and Baruch College and a graduate of Nonprofit Westchester’s Emerging Leaders Program. She holds a Master of Social Work from New York University, a master’s in organizational leadership from Mercy College, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College. Gray is deeply committed to uplifting youth and family voices to drive meaningful, lasting change.

Now in its 16th year, Wunderkinds celebrates a select group of rising leaders chosen by the editors of 914INC. for their unique talents, groundbreaking ideas, and deep commitment to their communities. Gray joins an impressive cohort of changemakers who are shaping the future of Westchester and beyond.

“Angel’s passion, leadership, and unwavering dedication to improving outcomes for children and families make this recognition incredibly well deserved,” said Adam Rabinovitch, Executive Director of WCA. “We are thrilled to see her work acknowledged among the region’s top young professionals.”

Gray’s contributions at WCA have been instrumental in advancing initiatives that center equity, amplify youth voice, and strengthen community partnerships. Her leadership reflects the very qualities that define a Wunderkind, innovation, impact, and a commitment to meaningful change.

The 2026 Wunderkinds will be featured in the May/June issue of 914INC. and honored at a special awards cocktail reception on May 19. The event will bring together leaders from across the region to celebrate this year’s honorees and recognize the sponsors who make the program possible.
