Calling all book lovers! The Harrison Public Library is hosting a hybrid author event with local author Lyn Liao Butler and NYT bestselling author Ali Hazelwood on Wednesday, February 7, at 7 pm ET.
A Q&A and book signing will follow their discussion. Wine and light refreshments will be served.Admission is free!
Lyn Liao Butler is a Taiwanese American author of thrillers, upmarket fiction, and rom-coms. Her most recent thriller, Someone Else’s Life, was an Amazon bestseller, and her second book Red Thread of Fate is a finalist in the WFWA Star Awards for 2023. Before becoming an author, Lyn was a professional ballet and modern dancer, and is still a fitness and yoga instructor. When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her FDNY husband, their son, two rescue dachshunds and sewing for her Etsy shop.
Originally from Italy, Hazelwood has lived in Japan and Germany, and eventually moved to the US to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. She recently became a professor, which absolutely terrifies her. Many of her works center on women in STEM fields and academia. Her debut novel, The Love Hypothesis, was a New York Times best seller. When she’s not at work you can find her binge-watching shows with her three feline overlords (and my slightly less feline husband), running, or eating candy.
