NYS Police Make Drug Arrest on I-684-Harrison

On December 22, 2023, the New York State Police while patrolling Interstate 684 in the town of Harrison stopped a 2022 Jeep for multiple violations of the New York vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation determined the operator,  Sidney A. Gershenov, age 34, of Armonk, NY, was in possession of approximately 1.2 grams of crack-cocaine, and passenger, Katherine E. Oliver, age 35, of Chappaqua, NY, possessed approximately 11.8 grams of cocaine, 6.8 grams of heroin, and 2.4 grams of Alprazolam.

Sidney Gershenov was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony.  Katherine Oliver was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, a class A-II Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Both subjects were arraigned before the town court of Harrison.  Sidney Gershenov was released on his own recognizance, and Katherine Oliver was remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
