Law Enforcement Unions Endorse Yonkers Mayor Spano for Reelection

Yonkers PBA, Yonkers CLSA, MTA Police, and Westchester PBA Jointly Endorse

In a strong display of unity and support, the Yonkers Police Benevolent Association (PBA), Yonkers Captains, Lieutenants, and Sergeants Association (CLSA), MTA Police Benevolent Association, and Westchester Police Benevolent Association have jointly announced their endorsement of Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano for his re-election bid in the upcoming municipal elections. These four influential law enforcement unions have come together to endorse Mayor Spano, recognizing his outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication to public safety, and steadfast support for law enforcement officers and their communities.

The joint endorsement by the Yonkers PBA, Yonkers CLSA, MTA Police, and Westchester PBA represents a significant vote of confidence in Mayor Spano’s ability to lead Yonkers effectively, address the unique challenges faced by law enforcement agencies, and prioritize the safety and well-being of Yonkers residents.

“At this critical juncture, we proudly unite to endorse Mayor Mike Spano for re-election,” said Keith Olson, President of the Yonkers Police Benevolent Association. “Under his guidance, Yonkers has witnessed tangible advancements in public safety, strengthened collaboration between law enforcement and the community, and continued support for our brave officers. Mayor Spano has demonstrated unwavering commitment to our city, and we wholeheartedly believe he is the best candidate to lead us forward.”

The endorsement from law enforcement unions come after the endorsements from other City Unions, including the Yonkers Firefighters Union, Teachers Union and Teamsters.
