National Guard Soldier Receives New Rank, New Responsibilities
Justin Brown from YONKERS, N.Y., and assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment, received a promotion May 9, 2026 to the rank of specialist.
Royal Mason from YONKERS, N.Y., and assigned to Alpha Company, NY Recruiting and Retention Battalion, received a promotion May 12, 2026 to the rank of private.
Jeanpaul Rodriguez from YONKERS, N.Y., and assigned to Alpha Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 42nd Infantry Division, received a promotion May 15, 2026 to the rank of master sergeant.
Army National Guard promotions are based on a Soldier’s overall performance, demonstrated leadership abilities, professionalism and future development potential.
