After spending the first week of classes in 2022 in remote learning, the Yonkers Public Schools is planning to welcome back students on Monday, Jan. 10.

On Jan. 5, YPS posted the following: Return to School Safely In-Person Monday, January 10, 2022
COVID-19 Home Test Pick-up
-Schools notify parents about pickup & procedures
-Each child attending school will receive a kit with 2 tests
-Parents must test their child Sun 1/9 & Mon 1/17 then report results to their school
-Questions? Contact your child’s school nurse or principal.
Also during remote learning, YPS continues to offer its grab and go breakfast and lunch meals for students.
Visit the YPS website or Facebook page to find the school closest to your student-child under the age of 18.

On Fri. Jan. 7 and Sat. Jan. 8, YPS made test kits available for pick up at the Board of Educaton, One Larkin Center, Saturday, January 8 from 10AM-1PM, and on Fri. Jan. 7.

The test kits are to be used to test students on Sunday Jan. 9 and Monday Jan. 17. See the notice below.
