Yonkers seniors will have an opportunity to learn important fire prevention and safety information this week during a community presentation hosted by the Mayor’s Senior Advisory Board.
Yonkers Fire Department Lieutenant Devon Chisholm will lead the presentation on Friday, August 14, at 11:00 a.m., providing seniors with essential information on basic fire prevention, household safety and ways to reduce the risk of fires. The event will be held in the Community Room at 15 Hamilton Avenue and is free to attend. The presentation is part of an effort to provide seniors with valuable safety information and resources to help keep themselves, their families and their homes safe.
