YONKERS — It is great to hear that the Yonkers High School Bowling team is having a stellar season. Coach Marrianna Monaco has put together a winner this varsity season. The team is made up of a boy’s squad and a girl’s squad.
Marianna said “This season is going great!” The boys are in second place in their league led by Sr. Dylan Kowaleski.
The girls were off to a slow start as we only had three girls at the beginning of the season. Ever since we had a 4th bowler the girls have not lost a single match which has moved them up the rankings dramatically. The girls are led by seniors Kellina Murphy and Stefanie Romero”.
The boys are 56-14 while the girls are 30-40. Next stop are the Sectionals! Best of luck to our Yonkers team!
