Yonkers Girls Swim Team Off to a Good Start

Team Captain–Esperanza Aguilar-Bello (Sr, YHS), Maya Gardner (Sr, YHS), and Eva Stern (Jr, YHs)

The Yonkers Girls Swim Team won their season opener against Woodlands High School, 88-70.
Sophomore Sara Bowden (YMA) won both the  200 yard I.M. (2:47.49) and 100 yard breaststroke (1:26.65).
Monica George (Jr, YMA) was 2nd in the 50 yard freestyle (32.08) and 3rd in the 100 yard butterfly (1:29.90)

Olivia Quinn (So. Lincoln) won the 200 yard freestyle (2:41.78).
Rania El Gamani (Jr YHS) won the 100 yard freestyle (1:12.58).
Maya Gardner (Sr, Saunders) won the 100 yard backstroke (1:27.76) and placed 2nd in the butterfly (1:29.22).
