Alpha Elite Sports proudly announces the successful completion of the first-ever Yonkers Girls Flag Football League, a groundbreaking milestone for youth sports in Westchester County. What began as a vision to create more opportunities for young female athletes quickly grew into a powerful and inspiring movement within the community.
This inaugural season saw an amazing turnout, with girls from all across Westchester coming together every week to compete, learn, and grow. Remarkably, nearly 80% of participants had never played flag football before joining the league. Through the dedication of our coaches, volunteers, and supportive families, these young athletes showed extraordinary progress—both in skill and confidence—throughout the season.
One of the highlights of the year was the league’s first Pro Bowl Game, an electric showcase of talent featuring athletes representing every team. The excitement was everything we hoped for and more, with the AFC defeating the NFC by a score of 28–6 to claim the inaugural Pro Bowl Trophy.
On November 16, 2025, the league closed out its season with an unforgettable Playoffs and Championship Weekend. The competition was fierce, the energy was high, and the passion on the field reflected just how far these young women have come in such a short time.
Alpha Elite Sports is proud to announce that the New England Patriots were crowned the First-Ever Yonkers Girls Flag Football League Champions, completing an undefeated regular season and playoff run.

Looking Ahead: Spring 2026 SeasonWith the overwhelming success of the inaugural season, Alpha Elite Sports is already preparing for the Spring 2026 season. Registration opens December 1st, and families are encouraged to sign up early. A major turnout is expected, and spots will fill quickly.
Awards Dinner – February 1, 2026To celebrate the accomplishments of our athletes, Alpha Elite Sports will host the First Annual Yonkers Girls Flag Football League Awards Dinner on February 1, 2026, at Castle Royale in Yonkers. All families, supporters, and community members are invited to attend. We also welcome local businesses to support and participate in this special event honoring the pioneers of our league.
