
The Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business Improvement District (YDWBID) has announced the return of its signature lineup of community events for 2026, bringing thousands of residents and visitors together throughout the year to celebrate music, culture, diversity, and seasonal traditions in the heart of Downtown Yonkers. From the popular Yonkers Waterfront Live Summer Concert Series to the vibrant Yonkers Pride Festival, the regionally renowned Yonkers Riverfest, the festive Halloween Pet Parade, and the beloved Holiday Tree Lighting, these free events activate public spaces along the waterfront and throughout downtown while showcasing the energy, creativity, and community spirit that defines Downtown Yonkers.
Yonkers Waterfront Live

Each summer, Yonkers Waterfront Live Concert Series happens at the Yonkers Waterfront Amphitheatre. Held on Fridays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM during June, July, and August, this beloved event attracts thousands of attendees. In past years, we’ve welcomed musical giants like Lulada Club, Nick Cassarino & Company, and Mi Gente Live. With a mix of Motown, hip-hop, soul, funk, and more, the Waterfront Live Summer Concert Series remains a highlight of the season.
Yonkers Pride Festival

Yonkers Riverfest is the largest one-day festival in Westchester County and is held annually in September from 12 to 7pm along the Hudson River! This festival brings together more than 15,000 people with its broad appeal as it celebrates community. In 2025, we had 10 live bands, 140+ unique food, craft and community vendors, kid friendly activities such as a circus, ninja obstacle course, rides and games.
