
Lakisha Collins-Bellamy, Yonkers City Council President, is endorsed by the Board of the Westchester Jewish Democrats, a leading voice for Jewish Democratic voters across the county, reflecting her deep commitment to democratic values, community safety, and equity for all.
The endorsement from the Board of the Westchester Jewish Democrats highlights Lakisha’s strong record of service, integrity, and inclusive leadership. As the first Black woman elected as Council President in Yonkers, Lakisha has built a coalition of support by focusing on expanding affordable housing, improving public schools, and ensuring that our government works for everyone.

The Democratic Primary election will be held on Tuesday, June 24th.
