In Observance of Menopause Awareness Month: Menopause 360º
The Westchester County Office for Women (OFW) will hold its September webinar of the Empower Hour series on Wednesday, September 23 from Noon to 1 p.m. featuring OFW Acting DirectorCatherine Borgia and guest, Dr. Sharon J. Parish, Professor of Medicine in Clinical Psychiatry, Professor of Clinical Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College. They will have an in-depth discussion about the range of physical and emotional health considerations and empowerment at all stages for women as they make the journey from peri- to post-menopause.
Borgia said: “Peri-menopause, menopause and beyond can be the beginnings of wonderful, full and healthy chapters in a woman’s life. I’m grateful to Dr. Parish for giving us the information we need to make the best decisions for our health and our lives during these stages.”
