Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins on the 2026 Election of Cait Conley in NY-17

From County Executive Ken Jenkins:

Voters came out in force on Tuesday, and a blue wave helped carry Cait over the finish line in NY-17. I’m proud to have stood with her throughout her race, and I know she’ll lead in Congress and move NY-17 forward. Congratulations to every candidate across Westchester County who won, and thank you to everyone who ran to represent their community. Serving in public office is no small feat. It takes courage and a deep commitment to the people you serve.

The voters have made their choice. Now it’s time to come together and deliver. That means bringing down costs, easing the burden on household budgets and fighting the affordability crisis that so many of our neighbors are facing every day. Thank you to every voter who made their voice heard, and to the poll workers and election staff who made it possible. The work starts now. Let’s get to it
