Warrant Issued for Level 3 Sex Offender Who Committed Crime in Westchester-Wanted by NYS DCJ

Armendo Moreno, a level three sex offender who committed his crime in Westchester decades ago, is wanted by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Moreno’s Level 3 sex offender status means that he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” His current address is unknown, and Moreno is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 165 pounds.

In 1984, Moreno used a weapon to threaten, assault and sexually abuse a teen. In 1986 he was convicted of 2nd degree attempted murder, sodomy and criminal possession of a weapon and was sentenced to 12-25 years in prison.
