After my daughter received 10 of these mailings, I decided to check them out. The VotingMatters.org website says it is paid for by the Democratic National Committee. The back of the postcard is the same note everytime, but hand written and signed.
The only strange part of the note is- “Who you vote for is private, but whether you vote is public record.”
This seemed a little threatening to me and my daughter agreed. Vote or else we will know? And do what?
