New Rochelle Police Respond to Violent Dispute Over Parking Spot -From the NRPD
On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at approximately 12:00 AM, New Rochelle Police officers responded to a report of a large dispute at 45/47 Charles Street involving a parking spot that escalated into a violent altercation.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a confrontation between two families residing at the address had turned physical. Brothers Shachari Brembridge and Shaan Morales allegedly assaulted their neighbors, a father, mother, and daughter. The mother contacted her son, Thamus Frazier, to inform him of the incident. When Mr. Frazier arrived at the scene, he engaged in a physical altercation with the two brothers.
During the incident, Thamus Frazier assaulted two New Rochelle police officers and resisted arrest. Officers were able to take Mr. Frazier, Mr. Brembridge, and Mr. Morales into custody. All three individuals were arrested and are being held pending arraignment. Orders of Protection have been issued for the involved parties.
The two officers who were assaulted received treatment at a local hospital for minor injuries and have since been released. Both officers have returned to duty.

Shaan Morales, 24 years of age, and Shachari Brembridge, 19 years of age, both of New Rochelle, NY, were charged with New York State Penal Law Section: 120.00 Assault 3rd Degree – A Misdemeanor
Thamus Frazier, 28 years of age, of New Rochelle, NY, was charged with New York State Penal Law Sections: 120.05 Assault 2nd Degree – D Felony
205.30 Resisting Arrest – A Misdemeanor
195.05 Obstruction of Governmental Administration – A Misdemeanor
