The stunning, open-air Amphitheater in the majestic and exquisitely restored Walled Garden of Untermyer Park and Gardens will be the setting for Tom Gold’s Mad About the Boy, Saturday, June 20 at 6:00PM, as New York City-based Tom Gold Dance returns to the spectacular 43-acre public park—perched on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River in Yonkers, NY—for the sixth consecutive year. General admission tickets are now available at tomgolddance.org/untermyer-2026.

Currently scheduled to perform are dancers Sara Adams of New York City Ballet, Emily Cardea, Harrison Coll (also of New York City Ballet), Laura Kauffman, Nicholas Sipes, Tanya Trombly, and Craig Wasserman. Vocalist Kate Kortum, pianist Matthew Sheens, and bassist Simón Willson will provide live accompaniment.

“A more textured and fully realized work [that deepens] the original’s allure without losing its essential charm,” (Times Square Chronicles),the vivacious and virtuosic Mad About the Boy, revived for its 20th anniversary in an expanded version with several new movements during the Company’s 2026 spring season in the Grand Ballroom at Bohemian National Hall last month, follows a group of audacious guests as they vie for the spotlight (and each other’s affections) in an English supper club in the 1930s. Inspired by Robert Altman’s satirical masterpiece, Gosford ParkMad About the Boy features the delightful songs of Ivor Novello, Noël Coward, Cole Porter, and others.

Tom Gold Dance will also present Mad About the Boy in the Rose Footprint Theatre on the grounds of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA in the Berkshires, Saturday, August 8.
