‘TIS THE SEASON FOR MERRYMAKING AT HISTORIC HUDSON VALLEY

Westchester families can get into the spirit of the hol­i­day sea­son at several Historic Hudson Valley venues, starting with Dicken’s Christmas Carol on December 2. Nestle into the historic Old Dutch Church and let master storyteller Jonathan Kruk, complete with musical accompaniment by Jim Keyes, regale you with his adaptation of Charles Dickens’s “A Christmas Carol.”

Per­for­mances take place on Dec. 2-3, 9-10, 16-17.

On December 16, from 10 am-3pm, enjoy a Victorian Christmas celebration and a festive tour of Washington Irving’s Sunnyside, all decked out in holiday finery. Sip on wassail, hot chocolate, and sample seasonal treats and try your hand at making holiday crafts, such as paper cones and ornaments. The premium package includes a Washington Irving felt ornament and our brand-new candle, Olde Christmas.

Tours of Philips­burg Manor, Union Church, and Wash­ing­ton Irv­ing’s Sun­ny­side are available on week­ends through De­cem­ber 17.
