The Haunt at Wildcliff Mansion Returns to New Rochelle Starting Oct. 9

Tickets On Sale Now for Westchester’s Premier Haunted Experience

This October, The Haunt at Wildcliff Mansion rises once again, bringing immersive horror and cinematic design to one of Westchester’s most storied properties.

Set within the ruins of the historic Wildcliff Mansion overlooking Echo Bay, the attraction invites guests to journey through darkness, legend, and beautifully crafted nightmares.

Produced by the Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse, this large-scale, story-driven haunt combines professional scenic design, atmospheric storytelling, and local roots to create a Halloween experience like no other.

FROM CHILDHOOD CLASS TO FULL-SCALE HAUNT
The Haunt at Wildcliff Mansion was created by David O’Neil, an Eastchester teacher and Director of Discover Camp in Hawthorne, NY, and David Calamari, a freelance magician, scenic designer, and owner of Kraken Scenic Studio, specializing in haunted attraction design
nationwide.

Their journey began when Calamari was a young student, taking O’Neil’s “Halloween in July” class at Discover Camp. Seventeen years later, Calamari now works professionally on haunted attractions across the country, while collaborating with O’Neil to build something truly thrilling at Wildcliff Mansion in New Rochelle.

A LEGENDARY LOCATION, REIMAGINED

Originally built in 1852 by renowned architect Alexander Jackson Davis, Wildcliff Mansion was a seaside Gothic-Tudor villa gifted by Cyrus Lawton to his wife. It later served the community as a public museum and youth center until a fire in 2018 left the structure in ruins.

Today, Wildcliff’s haunting beauty has been reimagined as the ideal setting for an unforgettable Halloween attraction—while the surrounding property is being revitalized through the efforts of the Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse, a nonprofit dedicated to environmental and
horticultural education.

🌱 SCARES THAT GIVE BACK

All proceeds support the Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering hands-on environmental education for New Rochelle youth. Every ticket sold helps fund programming, workshops, and green space preservation.
